Two urgent actions – time-sensitive, please read!

INDIVISIBLES! Please join us in two critical actions to stop the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh: Call Collins every day between now and September 4, and attend the Portland rally tomorrow. Details follow.

1. Call Collins daily until 9/4.

Calls to local offices are one of the most powerful ways we can make our voices heard. Please take a minute to call the office nearest you right now:

  • Augusta office: (207) 622-8414
  • Bangor office: (207) 945-0417
  • Biddeford office: (207) 283-1101
  • Caribou office: (207) 493-7873
  • Lewiston office: (207) 784-6969
  • Portland office: (207) 780-3575

National Indivisible has put together an updated call script, but you don’t have to go that route if you’d rather keep it simple. Just cite one or two points, and be sure to give them your zip code so they know you are a constituent.

Hearings are slated to begin September 4, and the chances of getting a delay are slim. Pressure Collins to VOTE NO.

2. Join us tomorrow in Portland, 1pm, City Hall.

From Mainers for Accountable Leadership: This Sunday, Aug. 26, Maine will host 4 sister rallies for Unite for Justice, a national action hosted by MoveOn, NARAL, and dozens of other groups to oppose Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Sen. Susan Collins will be a swing vote in his confirmation and early indications are that she is leaning toward a yes vote. Find information below on a rally near you and speak out against this extremist nominee! Learn more about Kavanaugh in our #saveSCOTUS call to action and in our collaborative report, CASE REVIEW: Kavanaugh on the Issues.
